Deleting your data

Effective July 31, 2026

This page explains how to disconnect a connected account from Krause Web Design (KWD) and how to request deletion of the information we hold about you. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting your Facebook Page

This is immediate and you can do it yourself. When you disconnect, the Page access token we stored for you is deleted from our servers straight away, and we can no longer publish to your Page.

  1. 1Log in to your dashboard and open the main dashboard page.
  2. 2Find the Facebook card, which shows the Page you have connected.
  3. 3Click Disconnect. The stored token is deleted immediately.

You can also remove our access from Facebook’s side at any time, which has the same effect: go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, find Krause Web Design, and choose Remove. Posts already published to your Page belong to you and stay on your Page. We never held a copy of your Page’s messages, followers, or ad data.

Disconnecting your Google account

Use the Google card in your dashboard to disconnect, or revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Either removes our stored access tokens.

Deleting everything else

The rest of what we hold is your own website content: your pages, posts, photos, customer enquiries, and subscriber list. Because deleting it also takes your website down, we do it on request rather than automatically, so nobody removes a live business site by accident.

  1. 1Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my data.
  2. 2Tell us your business name and whether you want everything deleted or only specific items.
  3. 3We confirm it is really you, then delete it and email you when it is done, normally within a few business days and always within 30 days.

If you would like a copy of your content before it goes, ask in the same email and we will send it to you. Your website is yours, and you can take it with you.

What we keep, and why

After deletion we retain only what the law requires us to: invoice and payment records needed for tax and accounting, and any records we must hold to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. These are kept for the period the law requires and are not used for anything else.
